ZVolume gives you a nice alternative to the Windows Volume Control applet for controlling your sound card's output levels. It lets you adjust the volume from a trim, stay-on-top window; the keyboard; or the command line. Other features include support for Winamp, bitmap skins, a slew of customizable hotkeys (including hotkeys for controlling Winamp), a choice of mixer devices and components, and the ability to restore the volume level when the program starts.
